How will I know that an e-mail is really from Fabricjam?
If you receive an e-mail that asks you for any personal information from you ie: passwords or bank details, this is definitely not from us. We will never request any personal or confidential information from you in our e-mails. If you are unsure, please login to Fabricjam and check your message inbox. If it is from us, then it will also be in your message inbox.
How do I end my listing immediately?
If you would like to end your listing, please click here to complete the end listing early form.
Please be aware that frequent misuse of this facility may result in a formal warning, temporary suspension or indefinite suspension of your account.
How do I cancel or retract my bid?
We recommend that you read the entire item description carefully before bidding on or purchasing an item. Please contact the seller with any questions you may have before actually placing a bid. When you bid on an auction or buy a product at a fixed rate, you are entering into a binding contract between yourself and the seller, and have committed yourself to purchasing the item.
You may cancel or retract your bid using the bid retraction form, but only under the following circumstances:
- You entered wrong amount
- Seller changed item description
- You cannot contact the seller
Please note that the amount of bid retractions you make will be visible on your profile page. Please click here if you would like to complete a bid retraction form.
If you are bidding on an auction and do not wish to complete the transaction, for a reason other than as described above, please contact the us and we may remove the bid at our discretion. If we choose not to cancel your bid and you win the auction, you are obligate to complete the transaction and pay for the item. If you do not pay for it, the seller may then start a non payment report against you in order to have their fee’s reimbursed. Frequent misuse of this facility may result in a formal warning, temporary suspension or indefinite suspension of your account.
I didn’t receive an item I paid for, does Fabricjam offer any insurance?
No. We do not offer any insurance. Please read through the seller’s full postage policy before bidding. We strongly recommend that you use recorded delivery, especially for higher priced items to avoid disappointment should this occur.

Fabricjam.com explained
Fabricjam is an online venue which provides a place to allow anyone to offer, sell, and buy new or used items within our stated categories, at any time, from anywhere, in a variety of methods, including auction-style and fixed price formats. At no point do we ever have possession of anything listed or sold through the Site.
We work hard to ensure that Fabricjam is a safe place for you to buy and sell in a pleasant ethical manner. Please read through our policies and user agreement for more information on our services and the rules relating to the use of Fabricjam.
Fabricjam fee’s explained
Listing/putting an item on Fabricjam to sell is absolutely free therefore there is no risk involved or loss for the seller if the item doesn’t sell immediately.
We charge 3.5% of the end value of the sale price of an item. You can pay us using a credit/debit card or using paypal. You can also set up a direct debit with us. Please note that if a sellers fee’s reach £15 in total, we cannot allow you to list any more items/incur any more charges until a payment method is set up in conjunction with your account.
Refer a friend scheme
Please click here if you would like to refer a friend to Fabricjam. You may also do so by clicking on the link on our homepage. We will never use your friends e-mail address or details for any other purpose than to send them an invite to Register with us and receive two selling credits. For each friend that you refer to Fabricjam, who then registers with us, you will receive two selling credits and so will your friend.
A selling credit is a means by which you can sell an item completely free, in other words, you will have no final value fee. One credit counts for one sold item. These credits can be accumulated on your account and never disappear unless they have been used, so the more friends you invite, the more credits you will receive.
You can view your selling credits in the “selling credits” section on your personal Fabricjam account.
