Feedback explained
Feedback represents your permanent reputation as a member of Fabricjam. It consists of comments and ratings left by other Fabricjam members you've bought from and sold to. These comments and ratings, along with your overall Feedback Score, are viewable in your Feedback Profile.
How Feedback works
For each transaction on Fabricjam, buyers and sellers can rate each other by leaving Feedback. Feedback is viewable by clicking onto a username and viewing their profile. Feedback consists of a rating (positive, negative, or neutral), and a short comment.
Feedback tips
• You cannot remove Feedback comments you have left, only leave fair and factual comments and ratings that relate to a specific transaction you had with your trading partner.
• Usually a high Feedback Score is a good sign, but you should still always check your trading partner's Feedback Profile to read comments and read any negative remarks.
• We strongly recommend contacting your trading partner to try to resolve any issues before leaving neutral or negative Feedback.
Some members work hard to maintain a positive feedback score. Leaving unfounded negative feedback can unnecessarily damage the reputation of a buyer or seller. Misuse of our feedback system may result in a formal warning, temporary suspension or indefinite suspension of your account.
How do I leave feedback?
You can leave feedback after completing in your account by selecting the item that you have sold or purchased. If you have not left feedback then there will be a feedback link on the item which will allow you to leave feedback.
How do I view a members feedback?
You can view a member’s feedback by clicking on their username and viewing their profile.
How do I appeal against negative feedback?
If you are confident that a member has left you unfair negative feedback, we can investigate and in some cases remove negative feedback. As we are not involved in or party to the transaction, it is difficult to prove that the feedback has been unfair; therefore you will need to be confident that your case fits into one of the following categories before appealing negative feedback.
• We can see that you have a strong feedback score. ie: You have 200 positive feedback ratings. You complete a transaction with a person who has an extremely low feedback score and who consistently leaves bad feedback. They leave you bad feedback for apparently no reason
• You have filed an unpaid item report against them, consequently they have left you negative feedback
Please click here if you are confident that your case fits into one of the above categories and would like to appeal against negative feedback.
